Experience

Here I bring together ten experiences that, in different ways, have shaped my professional path. Across journalism, culture, travel, sustainability and hospitality, each one left something behind that still influences the way I work, write and understand the world.

Hotel De’ Ricci — Rome, Italy.

I worked at Hotel De’ Ricci, a luxury wine hotel in the heart of Rome. My role combined personalized guest service with the organization of exclusive experiences both in the city and at the hotel, including wine tastings, private dinners and visits to places of interest. This boutique hotel is particularly special for being part of the renowned Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection, as well as for its private wine cellar, home to bottles that are nearly impossible to find elsewhere.

This experience consolidated my passion for hospitality as a professional field and broadened my understanding of how much the right information, thoughtfully created moments and experiences tailored to each guest’s wishes and needs can transform a journey. It taught me to see hospitality as a bridge between what someone imagines a trip could be and the experience they ultimately take home.

Ai Tre Scalini — Rome, Italy.

Ai Tre Scalini is a Roman institution in the heart of Monti, one of the city’s best-known neighborhoods, and I had the privilege of working there for several years. It is an enoteca where the wine list can move from celebrated labels to small producers, artisanal and natural wines, and distinctive bottles with a story of their own. It was there that I understood that Food & Beverage in Italy is not simply about food and drink: it is an art form. I studied, learned and fell in love with wine culture. Working directly with guests added another dimension: observing their reactions, learning how to recommend a wine, and connecting every day with people from more nationalities than I could reasonably list.

It was an experience deeply connected to Rome, its gastronomy and the relationship between those who live in a city and those who arrive to discover it. It reinforced something that runs through much of my professional path: communication as a way of connecting cultures, people and places.

Tour Operator at the Roman Colosseum — Italy.

I worked as a tour operator, connecting travelers with guided visits to the Colosseum and the archaeological area of the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum. It was my professional entry into Rome’s tourism industry and an experience that brought together organization, guest service, languages and cultural heritage. It also marked the beginning of a relationship with the travel industry that, in different forms, continued to accompany me in the years that followed.

@EspectáculosBarcelona — España.

I worked as a writer for virtual Magazine Espectáculos Barcelona, producing content related to culture and entertainment in Barcelona. It was an opportunity to return to the everyday practice of journalism and writing in an international context, combining research, synthesis and storytelling for digital media.

Sustainable School Construction Project — Argentina.

I was part of the press team for the construction of a unique sustainable school in Mar Chiquita, Argentina, a large-scale project made possible through the collaboration of Amartya and Tagma, from Argentina and Uruguay respectively, together with Earthship Biotecture, the U.S.-based organization founded by architect Michael Reynolds, creator of the Earthship concept and one of the best-known models of sustainable housing in the world. Through communications, I contributed to an initiative that proposed new ways of thinking about our relationship with the environment and the spaces we inhabit.

This experience strengthened my interest in sustainability and in researching renewable resources — a way of thinking about life that influences everything from how I live to how I raise my daughter. The project also allowed me to use communication as a tool to spark conversation and bring new ideas closer to a community.

Au Foin de La Rue Festival — France.

I was invited to join the press team at Au Foin de La Rue Festival in France. The experience allowed me to see a European festival from the inside and work in an international environment where music, culture and communication existed in perfect harmony.

Paléo Festival Nyon — Switzerland.

I volunteered at Paléo Festival Nyon in Switzerland. Beyond the festival itself, it was an experience of collective work and international exchange that allowed me to see from the inside how one of Europe’s major cultural gatherings is organized.

Un Mundo Feliz Sustainability Festival — Argentina.

I was part of the press team for Un Mundo Feliz, a festival dedicated to sustainability and new ways of thinking about the relationship between community, art, personal development and the environment. I worked in communications, supporting the project’s promotion, organization and coverage.

Festival Internacional del Bosque FIFBA — Argentina.

I joined the press team of Festival Internacional del Bosque, one of my first professional experiences in cultural communications. Working at festivals allowed me to begin exploring a form of journalism connected to music, cultural gatherings and creative projects.

Buenos Aires International Music Market – Argentina.

I worked as an interpreter for the Japanese record label Uncleowen Records during the Buenos Aires International Music Market. It was an early experience working in a multicultural setting, connecting professionals from different countries within the music industry.

Looking back, it was also one of the first times that languages, culture and communication — three elements that would continue to appear again and again throughout my path — came together within the same professional experience.
